SLEEPY HOLLOW OFFICIALS - GANDOLFO AND WOMPA - "LAWYER UP"
While claiming that they did nothing wrong, two of the three Sleepy Hollow officials accused in a criminal complaint filed with the NYS Attorney General's Office, have retained counsel. It is highly unusual for innocent people to feel the need to hire a criminal defense lawyer, so the question must be asked, why Janet Gandolfo and Karin Wompa felt compelled to do so. It is interesting to consider that the third member of the trio, Susan Roth, didn't join her two cohorts (or possibly wasn't invited to join them) in obtaining counsel. Is she being set up as the "fall guy" by the other two?
Intriguingly, the attorney that Gandolfo and Wompa retained is none other than former Sleepy Hollow Village Justice, John Lewis, a loyal member of the Gandolfo fold - who no doubt, is obliged to handle this matter for her. We at the Blog hope that the former Judge did his homework before taking on this case, and knows what he is getting himself into! The evidence against his clients is overwhelming and he will have his hands full in trying to defend them. That is unless Susan Roth will be offered up as the sacrificial lamb, and she will take the fall for all!
On Saturday, December 13th, a Press Conference was held to publically announce that a formal complaint has been filed with the NYS Attorney General's Office, Public Integrity Bureau, against Village Attorney Janet Gandolfo; Karin Wompa, Village Trustee and President of the Sleepy Hollow Downtown Revitalization Corporation; and Susan Roth, the Executive Director of the Sleepy Hollow Downtown Revitalization Corporation. And they are very "offended" that the light has been finally been shone on their illicit activities. Too bad. They should have thought about the consequences before conspiring to do wrong. As the old TV crime show "Baretta" used to advise, "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime!"

CRIMINAL CHARGES FILED AGAINST SLEEPY HOLLOW OFFICIALS!
Formal criminal charges have been filed with the New York State Attorney General's Office against the following Sleepy Hollow officials:
A raucous Village Board meeting took place on Tuesday evening (12/2), where this issue was exposed and openly discussed. It is hard to believe that these three individuals will be allowed to continue in their current positions, considering that they have blatantly violated the public trust.
It appears that this matter is not the only serious problem facing the Village. Federal investigators are now looking into the perceived discriminatory treatment of a Marine veteran by the Village Board, in failing to approve his hiring for an open position on the Sleepy Hollow PD.
More details will be presented as they become available.
